Chase with a Delay on the First and Last Track (Receptacle) Examples Page

Chase with a Delay on 1 and Last is used for many types of displays. Deer jumping, throwing motions, and Santa skiing are just a few examples. The delays allow the animation to pause because continuous movement in some displays may seem unrealistic or too fast.

5 Track Chase Delay On 1 and Last - Version A
Dip Switch Setting:10110100
This example uses special extra tracks (receptacles) that have been added to this setting. These extra tracks/receptacles allow the deer to raise his head before jumping. Do not use the last three tracks if you want a normal 5 Track Chase with a delay on 1 and last. The sequence diagram below may help explain this. The example below does not use track (receptacle) number 8. It is available for a blinking nose.

5 Track Chase Delay On 1 and Last - Version B
Dip Switch Setting:10110110
